QRGuestbook is built to keep celebration memories private between guests and their hosts. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Hosts: email address, sign-in details, event settings, designs, uploaded images, welcome recordings, purchases, and support messages.
• Guests: the name you enter, voice messages you record, and photos you upload. Guests do not need an account.
• Technical data: basic logs such as browser type and errors, used to keep the service secure and working.

How it is used

We use this information only to run the event pages, deliver keepsakes to the host, process payments, provide support, and generate AI backgrounds that hosts request. We do not sell personal information or use guest recordings to train AI.

Who can see it

• Voice messages are private to the event host.
• Event photos are visible to the host and to guests with the event's photo booth link, so everyone can enjoy the shared album and slideshow.
• All media is stored in private storage and shared through short-lived secure links.
• Payment details are handled by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.

Retention and deletion

Hosts can delete individual messages, photos, or entire events at any time. Guests who want something removed can ask the host or contact us. Deleted media is removed from storage.

Microphone and camera

Your browser asks permission before recording audio or taking photos. Recording only happens while you are actively using the recorder or camera.

Children

Host accounts are for adults. Guests under 13 should take part with a parent or guardian.
